Cloakrooms
They may be the smallest room in the house but there is no reason for them not to be beautiful! With so many cloakroom suites available these days there are plenty of ways to maximise space and make it feel like a proper room, deserving of the rest of your home.
Slimline vanity units add extra storage and sinks to match meaning the room feels less cramped and even toilets are becoming smaller and more streamlined making them easier to clean.
Our plumbers can chase or box in ugly pipework meaning it no longer needs to be on display and you will be left with a room you will be proud to direct visitors to when they need to use the loo!
Plumbing with Colour
When it comes to choosing your bathroom fittings, don’t think there is only white as an option! There are some absolutely beautiful pieces of bathroom furniture available now in every colour you could wish for. We are currently working on what will be a ‘Sea foam’ coloured bathroom suite and I cannot wait to show you all that when it’s finished! Another personal favorite is pictured below, the colour really makes a statement.
Grout is another thing on our hot list when talking through your wishes, gone are the days when white was the only option! With every colour under the sun, including glitter options, choosing the correct colour grout for your project is just as important as choosing the right tiles.
One colour we will never recommend for a bathroom in our area is black. With very hard water, all the fancy black taps, showers and sinks can very soon become a thing of nightmares. Our plumbers often get called to rip these out and replace them due to the build up of limescale which quickly accumulates. No matter how hard you clean, there is just no getting rid of it. Another thing to avoid for these same reasons are the waterfall taps. Again, they begin to look ugly very quickly.
