Carbon Monoxide Detectors

Date: 01/04/2025

If you have a combustable appliance in your home (gas, oil, woodburner or open fire for instance), you should have a carbon monoxide detector in each room there is an appliance. Each brand comes with it's own instructions as to where it needs to be fitted and it is important to follow the instructions as they won't work if they are in the wrong place.

You can pick up a detector at Screwfix, B&Q, Wickes or you can give us a call and we can supply and fit one for you with a 10 year built in battery. If you are fitting your own, it's important to write the date you installed it on the body so you know when it needs replacing as they have different life spans if the battery is in built.

Carbon Monoxide Poisening is a serious issue and happens more times than we care to admit so keep you and your loved ones safe and install a detector today if you don't have one already!
