You may have seen in the press lately all the news around the phasing out of Gas Boilers and what will replace them. There is a lot of talk around Heat Pumps and you may have heard of Hydrogen Boilers being tested also.

It's difficult to predict the future but most manufacturers are now producing Hydrogen Blend Boilers. In short, they will handle a 20% Hydrogen to Gas blend in order to reduce our carbon footprint and eventually, the plan would be to go 100% Hydrogen in a bid to hit that all important Net Zero we are all now so familiar with.

The phasing out of Gas Boilers has been long talked about however, only this week, the target date has moved yet another 5 years further away and whilst we welcome anything to help our Carbon Footprint, we are also aware it is just not practical or possible for everyone to go Gas Free!
